Yes. The hetero-normative script is imprinted into us from the get go. Some of us take years to see through our own self-deception and then more time to accept our true selves and introduce the queer part of us to the rest of the world. And, I'm glad you pointed out that being straight (as was your twin) ain't always a piece-a cake either. Life can be challenging for everybody.
