Yes… familiarity doesn’t actually breed contempt after all. In fact, it’s often quite the opposite. We may fight with our closest loved ones and criticize them out loud. But, if someone outside the family circle spouts something negative about them, we instinctively leap to their defense. Love conquers all… or, at least, we’d like to think it does.
