Yes, absolutely. I feel the same way.
But, although it's safe in here in the literal sense — from trolls and those who might threaten us — do you never feel policed and judged by peers or people from other factions under the LGBTQ+ umbrella?
Do you not feel like in order to be accepted by editors and publications, you have to adhere to certain limited attitudes and vernacular?
I've run up against that on a regular basis. And, I wonder if that internal policing only further limits the discussion within the community and, most certainly, limits the message getting out to a larger audience. The bubble within the bubble, as it were.
