Willful ignorance is bad enough in and of itself. But, when misinformation, fear, and prejudice are politicized, literally everyone suffers the consequences in the short and long terms. As most of us queer folk are painfully aware, these are extremely dangerous, reactionary times. We must continue to fight against ignorance and the hatred it spawns.
