When responding to the question as to which persons, living or dead, I would want to have dinner with, Tig is always on my short list, usually sitting next to Jesus Christ... wouldn't you just love to be fly on the wall for that conversation?

Tig is not only one of the funniest and most original comics around, she is among the most courageous. The post-mastectomy special in which she strips topless is a true work of art that, for viewers, pretty much obliterated the stigma of breast cancer.

I loved "One Mississippi" as well, especially the portrayal of her blank slate of a step father.

Viva la Tig! A true gay icon! (She frequently refers to herself as "gay" rather than "lesbian." I'd be interested to know why. But, regardless, it's her choice, not mine.)
