Well put! The bald faced duplicity of the Right (I’d call it the “extreme right” but this has become mainstream Republicanism) is jaw dropping.

However, this isn’t their usual tactic of promoting a radical solution to cure a manufactured problem. The problem of sexual abuse is real and has been real since the dawn of time. Rather than assigning true accountability and seeking to eradicate the problem, they are simply casting blame in the wrong direction to divert attention from their own complicity, while vilifying a marginalized minority to instill fear and hatred in their base… all this for purely political reasons.

And, calling the victims they claim to care so much about liars is as sick as it gets.
