This, unfortunately, should be the responsibility of all persecuted marginalized folks… to speak up and tell our stories so others may feel the permission to do the same. If they know us as individuals, it’s much harder to hate us as “the other.” Meanwhile, we are providing comfort and support to each other. Thanks for sharing your story.
