This is true of theatre, film, and literature as well. But, ironically, the most affecting characters are usually the most individual in their nature and experience. The more personal and specific the story is, the more chance there's an audience that will strongly relate. Any character portrayed truthfully and with nuance will resonate with someone. Put that character in an intriguing situation and you have a winner. Thanks for the recommendation. Looking forward to watching.
