The word wrong itself seems wrong because it suggests a negative ethical or moral implication. This discussion has a lot in common with the "born this way" kerfuffle... When a queer person declares "I was born this way!" some think it's equivalent to them saying they were born with a chronic condition. And, it also negates the very real existence of fluidity and fluctuation in one's sexual attraction. The dialogue around identity (in regards to sexual orientation and gender) is a bit of a semantic tight rope walk.
