The ultimate irony is that the article the idiot governor was responding to was the equivalent of an Onion piece… AND he was too clueless to recognize that, not only was the event fictional, the town where it supposedly took place in the state he’s “served” for decades doesn’t exist.

It’s uncanny how many ways this man is dim witted. The Lone Star state has had some extraordinarily stupid governors (Bush and Perry for recent instances) but Abbott takes the booby prize hands down. Unfortunately, he’s not only a dumb ass… he’s mean and downright cruel, which makes him all that much worse.
