The hatred for gay men is pale by comparison to the hatred of bi men... who are distrusted and misunderstood by the straight world and many in the LGBTQ+ community as well. (Perhaps you were lumping bi men in with gay men. But our real-time experience is often quite different.) I have often wished I could be either straight or gay where I could easily find an accepting community.
