The Confederate flag move was "masterful?" Really? That was the easiest and most obvious thing she could have done at that moment to put an end to a fraught history of the stars and bars over the SC statehouse. Then, in her memoir, she takes it back, claiming that Dylann Roof stole the flage from "well-intentioned" South Carolinians. Haley tries to have it all ways at once just like every other ambitious politician. It might work for some folks.

But it doesn't work for me.
