The Christian right (and the right as a whole) is masterful at twisting the language of liberty to enable them to deprive "others" of their liberties. The fact that these institutions are often tax exempt while receiving state and/or federal tax payer support makes such discriminatory practices that much more hypocritical and egregious. In the end, the sad irony always lies within the all-too-often ignored question, "What would Jesus do?"
