The message is that being “artistic” or raised in a foreign, non-Christian, non-English-speaking, non “Western European” culture automatically makes someone the “other” and therefore a threat to the so called “traditions” of white Protestant conservatives.

No child is born a bigot. Bias and hate are learned attitudes, as is a misguided belief in “exceptionalism.” In essence, to defend against the perceived threat of advancing multiculturalism, they are trying to groom children to carry on ethnocentric, homophobic, religious zealotry.
