That one of the villains’ names is “Culture” says everything about those who resist the natural and inevitable evolution of human society towards greater acceptance and inclusion. The message is that being “artistic” or raised in a foreign, non-Christian, non-English-speaking, non “Western European” culture automatically makes someone the “other” and therefore a threat to the so called “traditions” of white Protestant conservatives.

No child is born a bigot. Bias and hate are learned attitudes, as is a misguided belief in “exceptionalism.” In essence, to defend against the perceived threat of advancing multiculturalism, they are trying to groom children to carry on ethnocentric, homophobic, religious zealotry.
