Thanks for your comment. Yes, the camera crew certainly insured Harper's safety and gave folks she interacted with greater incentive to be civil. Yes, certain people will do pretty much anything to be on camera. Yes, the TX incident was entirely Will's fault, which he acknowledged tearfully with sincere regret in the next scene. Hopefully, it was a lesson learned for him that sometimes, it's better to be your genuine self rather than goofing on people... especially when the trip was supposed to be for Harper's benefit, not a chance for Will to do his performance art.

Texans are a uniquely proud breed. And, what a California comedian thinks is just a silly joke can easily be taken as an offense. That Will was accompanied by a trans woman only rubbed salt into the wound. And, as usual, the anonymity of social media allowed haters to express their intolerance without fear. Peace.
