And, having lived through the advent of AIDS and lost friends to its scourge, I’m well aware of how miraculous new medications like Biktarvi are. My point is (and you’re not the only one who doesn’t agree) that the advertiser is making unnecessary innuendos (intentionally or not) that can easily be taken by intolerant homophobes to further justify their bias. That, I hope you’ll agree, would be counterproductive, especially in the present, hateful, reactionary climate, where LGBTQ folk are under constant threat. Peace.
