Thank you for your elucidation on this. I lived in Spokane as a child and have been to the northern Idaho lake area many times. One of my brothers lived in Hayden Lake for a time. It is a beautiful part of the country.

And, yes, over the years, the area has attracted some sketchy folks. I didn’t think it was necessary to get into any of the Aryan Nation history in this context. And, as I’m sure you’re aware, the state of Idaho has passed some of the most onerous laws in the country of late restricting the rights of women, the physicians and hospitals that serve women and trans folk and their families. So, that a drag queen of color got a big settlement from an Idaho jury is encouraging… not to mention pleasantly surprising.
