Thank you for taking the time to provide such a comprehensive response. It’s helpful. And, I apologize if you feel that I’ve been demanding too much of your valuable time asking for explanation. My time, too, is valuable and I, too, am an old man and get easily confused ;)

In that regard, I still find substantial contradictions in your beliefs. But, out of respect for your time, I’ll leave it at that.

I occasionally read your writing because you express a unique perspective, which I genuinely appreciate… even though my personal beliefs couldn’t be more different from yours.

I don’t believe that God has eyes, or any other human attribute.

I don’t believe that homosexuality, sodomy, or non-normative gender identities are sinful. The original Aramaic (or was it Hebrew?) word translated as “sin” means “to miss the mark.” I have enough humility to recognize that we all miss the mark more often than we hit the bullseye.

I don’t believe in the virgin birth, that the great prophet/teacher Jesus was resurrected from the dead, or that he ascended to complete the holy trinity.

This has been an interesting exchange. But, I need not ramble on.
