So, let me get this clear… You are saying that, because the Bible describes Jesus feeling human emotions during his time on earth, that his ascendent godly spirit is still capable of those same human feelings more than two millennia after martyring his mortal body?
As you’ve pointed out, in order to hold that belief, one would also have to believe in the Holy Trinity and the deity of Christ… which, admittedly, as a Unitarian, I don’t. I do hold ultimate admiration for Jesus as a prophet and for his example of human potential. I also believe in God. It’s just that I lack the ego or pretense to describe God in any specific way or ever assign human qualities to God. Peace.
