So, do Christians who espouse "hate the sin, love the sinner" understand that a person identifying as LGBTQ+ doesn't necessarily mean they are or have ever been actively engaged in behaviors Christians consider sinful? Or, is a person simply recognizing and acknowledging their own same-sex attraction or gender dysphoria sinful? I seriously doubt whether this distinction is ever made. It's come to the point where many Christians consider wearing a rainbow T-shirt is a sin. Did they add a new commandment: "Thou shall not wear a garment emblazoned with a rainbow?"
