Reminds me of a friend (he’s a Cuban immigrant who became a US citizen) a passionate Democrat, who worked tirelessly to elect John Kerry in 2004. When W was re-elected, he went out and bought a Hummer in protest.

I think it’s inevitable that many Trump voters will soon realize their mistake. But, ironically, it will take a whole lotta damage done for them to see what they were too blind (or lazy) to see when they marked their ballots. And, by then, it might be too late.

We knew this was the most important election in US history and they voted for cheaper Cheerios. Hope they’re happy now. We’ll see how they feel in a year’s time.

As for your entitled cousin, fortunately he wasn’t actually suffering from mental illness: suicidal depression. If he’d used that rope, would your uncle have declared “Good riddance to bad rubbish?” His son was a spoiled whiner after all. The story sounds simple because it’s simplistic in its logic. Suicidal ideation is nothing to joke about.
