Pretty much everything that Jesus reportedly said and stood for was as liberal as liberal gets. Certainly, if He were to come back, He wouldn't join a political party in the U.S. or any other nation state, for that matter.

And, while I wouldn't pretend to read the Messiah's mind, it seems as obvious as the nose on my face that He would be equally as appalled by the hypocrisy of American evangelicals who support the former president as He was by the greedy money changers in the Temple.
