Or, rather, it’s simply that complex… resulting in the quandary we know find ourselves in. And, now that we know how they/them can so easily be weaponized by haters to other already marginalized folks, are we “simply” going to accept the othering, or attempt to change the narrative and flip the script? Or, is it best to continue to own they/them in defiance of the haters? That’s the question I’m asking.
