One has to wonder what AI is learning from such stereotypes. Are we headed for a future in which gender images will become even more rigid?

I’ve found unsplash to be an abundant resource for queer and trans images. However, I’ve seen so many of the same images used elsewhere. So, they must be in short supply… or, at least, the best photographers and their most usable photos are not plentiful.
