Nearly every family, regardless of political party, has LGBTQ members in its fold. Regardless of whether they know it or choose to acknowledge that fact, most will ultimately stand up for their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. I have to believe that this kind of systemic bigotry will ultimately backfire. In the long run, deliberately divisive politicians like DeSantos who pander to a loud, hateful, rightwing minority will not and cannot prevail. This nation's youth will not tolerate intolerance. Neither will this aging queer... Love is Love.
