Living in Idaho gives you firsthand, daily witness to this fact. Then again, dolts abound in every corner of this sorry ass nation (and probably every other nation, too. Although I’m pretty sure we’ve got more than our share.)

Judgmental and self-righteous? That’s me, I guess. Every time I hear “Happy New Year,” I wanna scream!

Then again, our best defense is in savoring precious moments of happiness. They can’t take those away unless we let ‘em.
