It's a very sad state of affairs and nearly impossible (for me) to comprehend. Yet another unfortunate situation the founding fathers failed to anticipate... that the First Amendment would be used as permission to foment bigotry, even overt threats of violence, based upon religious or so-called political grounds. It's tricky. I'm wondering where the ACLU stands on this.
