It’s a shame that we ever have to argue about or justify our own identities. As a cis bi man, I usually identify under the broad stroke of “queer” because I’ve run into so much skepticism from straight and gay folks alike. And, even some who are accepting of a bi identity insist that my definition of bisexuality is no longer valid, so that creates yet another potential argument. It’s painful and exhausting.
