It’s a head scratcher that any queer person would have voted for Trump, unless they themselves don’t understand or believe in the true concept of gender.

Then again, there is the blatant selfishness factor: “We’ve got ours, so trans folk can just fend for themselves.” But, since Project 2025 removes all protections for all non-straight Americans, they might soon be reconsidering that posture. We’ll see.

I’d be curious (and, I’m sure, amused) to find out how many Log Cabin Republicans have ever seen a log cabin outside of Disneyland, let alone set foot in one.
