It never ceases to astound me how Christians who claim that the Bible is the literal word of God fail to actually acknowledge the overt discrepencies in the Gospels. Too, they conveniently disregard that the original texts were written without punctuation or capitalization and then translated and re-translated, often inaccurately, at the behest of power-mad political and church leaders with agendas of their own.

If the CDC can have its findings and recommendations altered and edited to "protect the image" of an inept president, imagine how many manglings ancient scripture has been through over the course of two millennia.
