Interesting, isn't it, that Colin Kaepernick's anti-racism gestures got so much attention, while Kluwe's actions on behalf of queer and trans folks have been pretty much ignored. Goes to show you what the media deems important, while revealing how pro athletes and coaches feel about the LGBTQ+ community. Both athletes are equally principled and heroic. But, Kluwe is pretty much unknown, even in queer and trans circles.
