In my opinion, labeling sometimes goes to absurd extremes and tends to silo the queer and trans community into sub groups who believe that only those who identify specifically the same are capable of understanding or empathizing.

That being said, I have to disagree that the term "same-sex attracted" is euphemistic. I, and many of my friends in HOW (Husbands Out to Wives) feel very comfortable with that term... it's not a label, per se, but an accurate state of being. The danger is when it's used to describe a malady or an affliction that can be cured through faith.

In the meantime, every individual should have the right to identify how they identify. It's a diverse group, but we're all on the same team. Divided we fall. Peace.
