Certainly, far too many of these rightwing, bigoted, quasi-masculine religious conservatives are closeted and, in my opinion, deserve to be outed. Yes, Meeks is a convicted child predator. But predatory behavior is not necessarily indicative of sexual orientation.

You don't mention anything to prove that he his actually homosexual other than his being caught in a criminally compromising position with a boy. Can you produce any other proof?

No doubt, he's a hypocrite and likely a scumbag. But sexual orientation is not about behavior. It's about attraction and identity.

For all we know, he might just be an out-of-control sexual pervert who has no other interest or desire than wield power and control. Or, he could be bisexual or fluid. I think a writer should be required to produce more details before publishing a headline that calls a con artist gay.
