I'm not suffering from racism fatigue. However, I do admit to chronic overwhelm. With fires, floods, and severe storms, the re-surging pandemic, the constant threat of white-supremacist terrorism... must I go on? Many of us flocked to Robin DiAngelo for anti-racist education only to be harangued for that. I favor Tim Wise and have learned much from his books and his frequent contributions here in Medium.

We are at an inflection point. The very fact that not a single Republican had the guts to vote for the John Lewis voting rights bill indicates how acceptable overt racism has become in America. I'm an ally. I've been working for peace, justice, and equality for more than a half century. Progress takes time. And, I know there is much more work to be done.
