If Mark met the lesbian couple at a dog park, that would have been the tropiest of queer tropes.

Did I mention that there’s also a dog? Mark’s pet Lula is as delightful as the lesbians, particularly since she seems to have far more affection for newcomer Eddie than she ever does for her original owner. In my humble opinion, you can never go wrong when you have a dog in your book.
