I wish I knew how to express my abject disgust that people would use their energy to dox you and attempt to intimidate you for actively supporting marginalized students… even a minister, who probably quotes the Bible on Sunday and praises Jesus? What? Really?

Anyway, you are beyond magnanimous not to call yourself a refugee (yes, you are privileged in many ways, but still!). That you and your partner have found each other is beautiful. But, your queer and trans students have suffered a great loss.
