Your cynicism is obnoxious. Marvel is offering youth a superhero roll model who stands for inclusion and combating climate change and there’s something wrong (Un-American) with that?

Marvel has a pretty good track record of creating stories and characters that engage a mass audience. They probably know what they’re doing. For me, I’m hoping the new, queer, environmentally aware Superman has some splendid and enlightening adventures.
