I don’t know what “dimmish” means. Neither does spell check, incidentally, which automatically assumes I meant to type Finnish. Who knew former college professors, particularly those who are so hung up on the meaning of certain words, were free to make them up? (BTW… you can go back and edit your piece, if you really care about words.)

That being said, yes… the media sometimes uses language in imprecise and inflammatory ways. Surely those friendly tourists weren’t trying to use violence to stop the peaceful transfer of power and/or overthrow the results of a free and fair election. The bear spraying and flag pole pummeling were about showing the Capitol police that Blue Lives Matter.
