I appreciate your comment and I agree with what you’re saying.

However, I would use the term “identity” or “identify” in place of lifestyle choice. After all, being queer or trans isn’t an avocation. It’s not like pursuing a hobby, not a hairstyle or a fashion choice or like a decision to go vegan.

It’s who we are, which is something we have no choice about. Our only real choice is in whether or not we choose to accept who we are and reveal that truth… to whom, how, and when. Peace.
