Here, here, Esther! The acronym has become so convoluted that we might as well include the entire alphabet as to not leave any subset out. I prefer “Queer and Trans” or QT+ for short.

I’ve never wanted to “fit in” either, especially if it meant compromising my individuality in any way. I don’t consider myself normal or average, nor would I be remotely pleased if folks believed that about me. But a longing to fit in is quite different from wanting acceptance. Every person deserves to be accepted for their true selves. All too often, acceptance is based on societal expectations rather than the qualities that make us all unique and special… which is contrary to true acceptance and more about “fitting in.” But I ramble.
