Certainly, hatred and bigotry should not be condoned, and should always be called out and condemned for what is. But, this writer has provided exactly zero verification that such hatred and bigotry towards Christians world exists in this forum.

I read a lot of Medium articles pertaining to religion and spirituality from all perspectives and, honestly, I have no idea what this writer is objecting to. The writer also doesn’t provide any definition for what qualifies as hatred or bigotry.

In my experience, simply mentioning Christianity or Christians or the Bible or evangelical preachers in anything other than a positive way is often interpreted by the faithful as Christian bashing. I suggest that this writer either make his case, or toughen up. The way things are going these days, the backlash against fundamentalist Protestant extremism will only get louder as churches and pastors support 2nd Amendment radicalism, fetal personhood, and continue to be ignorantly anti LGBT.
