As a queer musician/singer I’m considering suing the state of Oregon, a state that forbids businesses from pretty much every kind of discrimination imaginable. My concern is that a misogynistic, white-nationalist militia group like the Proud Boys or Patriot Prayer might’s attempt to hire me to perform at one of their rallies and insist that I sing an anthem contrary to the seven principles of my Unitarian Universalist faith.

(If a web designer who has never been asked to design a site for a same sex union but fears she might be in some imaginary future can win a case in the Supreme Court, I think I’m on pretty solid ground.) 🌈😉
