As a man of faith, and/or perhaps a man who has considerable experience with persons of faith, do you not differentiate between “truth” (which can be relative and subjective) and “facts” (which are provable and immutable)?

Do you not agree that what one person sees as their truth might be very different from how someone else sees the same set of “realities?” In my way of thinking, truth is more akin to faith in that it can be a personal (or communal) knowing that doesn’t necessarily rely on science or mathematics or even witness. Whereas facts are just that: facts. And there is no such thing as an “alternative fact.”
