And, what do you suppose those stats might indicate regarding which group is more faithful? Wouldn’t Jesus be more likely to spend time with a rehabilitating criminal than, say, Donald Trump Jr, who says that turning the other cheek gets you nothing or his father, whose favorite Bible quote is “an eye for an eye?”

Do you actually believe you are qualified to judge the depth or authenticity of a stranger’s faith based on the mistakes they’ve made? How Christ like is that? Were Jim Baker and Jimmy Swaggart good Christians? They served prison time, as did Nelson Mandela.

Bottom line, making blanket generalizations about groups of people, whether they be conservatives, liberals, or convicts, doesn’t seem at all consistent with the teachings of Jesus.
