An ironic statement in that self-described “normals” call themselves normal to set themselves apart and above queer and trans folks who they judge to be not normal. So, with that in mind, why would you want to be considered normal, when you are, in fact, extraordinary?
Certainly you have similar aspirations and goals as a so-called normal person. But, being trans is not remotely normal in the way a “normal” person would define normal. Surely, you don’t aspire to be like them or think like they do… other than you want to live your life unafraid, in peace, as your true self… which, of course, is perfectly normal.
